What is INOKA
INOKA is a support group and educational guide for women who have experienced or are experiencing physical, sexual, emotional, or social abuse.
The group helps empower women to break the cycle of violence, while also supporting women who who are trying to maintain their freedom from abusive and controlling relationships.
INOKA provides a safe space that offers support, information, and education. The goal of INOKA is to help participants build a step-by-step path out of abuse and into personal empowerment and well-being.
Approach
The program is divided into three parts: Ending Abuse, Taking Charge, and Loving Yourself. Each section covers different topics through a combination of information, activities, and open discussions.

The Women's Safety & Resource Center currently offers 6 INOKA groups. All groups are open, meaning new participants are welcome anytime. There is no cost for attending. Please contact the Outreach for exact times and locations. |
